Proconnesian marblle
Two elegant winged goddesses og Victory support a round frame (clipeo), under which a small eagle is placed; both its sides prent two identical and specular scenes, related to the Dionysian world: a crouching panther and an eros engages in stealing a bunch of grapes from a rooster.
Last quarter of the second century AD
Uncovered in the Via Aurelia Antica (1949)
Museum: Centrale Montemartini (Rome)
