Composer, Orchestrator &  Arranger, Pierpaolo Lucca lives in Genoa (Italy), where he was born in 1970, on April 24. Eclectic and versatile Author, in more than 30 years of composing he has explored and experienced different styles and genres of Music: Classic Music, Pop, Rock, New Age, Celtic & World Music, Funky, Crossover, Film & Theatre Music, Electronic and Polyphonic Sacred Music.

Just a teenager, after buying a guitar and learning to play it by himself, he begins to compose the first songs as Songwriter. Few years later he becomes a member of the “Songwriters Clubhouse of Genoa”, performing in Theaters, Clubs and Broadcasting Televisions of his  city with other Artists as Cristiano De Andrè, Max Manfredi, Sergio Alemanno, Claudia Pastorino, Enrico Lisei, and many others.

At the same time, he also becomes a member (as Tenor) of the Polyphonic Chorus of Genoa "Januensis" conducted by M° Luigi Porro, with which he performes at the “Ariston Theatre” in Sanremo - exclusively for Italian Television “R.A.I. 3” - and in many others  Italian Polyphonic Festivals.

Performs himself as Songwriter in the famous Italian National Show-Event "30 Hours for Life" (live on the Italian Mediaset Television “Canale 5” from the Expo Stage Porto Antico in Genoa) joining to the Major Artists of the Genoese Music Scene, including the New Trolls.

In Milan, he studies Electric Bass under the teaching of Flavio Scopaz (historical Eros Ramazzotti’s electric bass player). At the same time, he is involved as Music Co-Director in the production of the Italian Version Singing Dubbing of the famous New York Show-Television "Open Sesame – The Street" ("The Muppets") for the R.A.I. (Italian Radio Television) Satellite Networks, translating, perfecting and editing for over 100 episodes the translation/adaptation on the Muppets labial movements of all the texts and lyrics from American to Italian language, and dubbing with his own voice several supporting Muppets Characters.

Starting his studies of Harmony & Classical Composition in Genoa with the Pianist and Conductor Francesco Mancuso (with whom he is founder of the Musical Association "A.M.G. Classica" of Genoa), and also the study of the violin with Roberto Mazzola, he keeps on soon his studies (composition, violin and piano) as self-taught, basing on Arnold Schöenberg, Samuel Adler, Rimsky Korsakov’s Manuals, and many others.

In 2013,Pierpaolo Lucca publishes the CD "The Stone of Delphi", a compositional work conceived as a journey into the Time of Music, from the origins of Ancient Greece Music up to the Classic Music of the ‘900, in which some members of the “Theatre Carlo Felice’s Orchestra” play.

Then the turning point, and the choice to follow the path of the Theatre & Film Music Composer. He starts collaborations with several directors, composing the music for “Incontrarsi nelle Diversità - Meeting in  Diversity" (Documentary by MP Ndong Eyebe), "The Trace" (documentary produced by Europe Union & UNESCO, supervisor Rossana Cingolani), "One More Night" (short movie directed by Vittoria Citerni Di Siena), “Il Disegnatore del Suono – The Sound Designer ” (a Movie  written and directed by Massimiliano Amato).

For Theater, he composes the Suite for Orchestra "The Turn of the Screw", created for the Performance adaptation on the Stage of the homonymous novel by Henry James, directed by Vittoria Citerni Di Siena in Trastevere and Torlonia Theaters in Rome.

Lately, is worthy to be mentioned the collaboration with M° Marco Werba as co-arranger/co-orchestrator for the movie track “Demonus” by Werba himself, which is part of the Soundtrack that Marco Werba has composed for the movie  “Daemon Mind” by Jason Fite.

Pierpaolo Lucca is also Author of several Symphonic, Chamber and Little Ensembles compositions, as "5 Concerts for Solo Instrument & Orchestra" (respectively for Violin, Cello, Piano, Oboe, English Horn), "Symphony of Sonnets - Fantastic Symphony" (inspired to William Shakespeare’s Sonnets), "Ouvertures for Grand Orchestra", "Preludes for Classical & Cinematic Orchestra", "Arias for Soprano & Orchestra", "Arias for Tenor & Orchestra", "Trios for Piano, Violin & Cello", "Quartets for Trio & Solo Voice ”,“ Fantasies for Piano Solo ”,“ Quintet for Trio, Oboe & Bassoon ”, and more.

He has recently composed a Musical, currently under perfecting development.
